Negative Correlations
You may be interested to know that there is a direct correlation between the darkness of the circles under my eyes and my ability to count. There were four people for dinner last night. I put out five place settings. And everyone was too polite to point out how retarded I was. How sweet.That is but one example of my unique brand of brain-deadness. Hopefully, the dark circles will disappear soon and my meager cognitive abilities will return.
In the meantime, I have to get back to my semi-miserable kind of life. When I return, my nervous breakdown should be complete and I should be back to my shiny, happy usual self!

Perhaps your retardation was already a given and it was assumed you'd do something of a retarded nature. Either that or the R's were a little preoccupied?? :)

Preoccupied for sure! I am glad that Papa R is home now and hope is gets back to normal really soon. Whatever normal is.
And my retardation is a given but I thought that was reserved for things like putting salt in the sugar bowl! Or putting cat food in my cereal bowl and cereal in the cat food bowl. And putting the cereal in the refrigerator and the milk in the cupboard. You get the idea.
