Blogrolling right on into the weekend
I thought of something cool to say. I just checked my site stats (using StatCounter) and someone was on my site at 12:34:56 p.m. today. Neat!I am so easy to entertain!
In other news, there is an interesting debate going on regarding Blogrolls. Blogrolls, are they helpful or hurtful? You can read about it here, and here, and here, and here. There is more but that's a pretty good start.
I am a tiny speck of the blogiverse (probably a single-celled organism in the ttlb ecosystem) but I still discover a lot of new blogs through other people's blogrolls and I hope people find me that way too. I am not that invested in the outcome of this but I just hope we can all settle this like adults or else the legislature might get involved! They would love to tell us what to do, wouldn't they?
What do you think? Blogrolls, Yea or Nay?

To be honest I find most of the blogs I read thru blogrolling too and actually found you thru Chris' (rudecactus.com) so I'd have to give blogrolling a big thumbs up! lol.

Hi again,
It looks like everyone finds everyone through rude cactus!
I think it's a good way to find other blogs because they have a better chance to be something youd like to read, since theyre liked by a person whos site you already like...if that makes sense!

I agree with that. But also sometimes I feel obliged to put someone on my roll cuz they linked me etc. Blogroll guilt?

I like the blogrol because that is how I find all the good blogs. If I just clkick the next blog thingy at the top I get porn, teenager stuff or political blogs.

Blogrolls are great for finding new stuff. I feel no obligation whatsoever to blogroll someone if I don't want to... for me, my blogroll is sort of a list of favorites for me and me only. And frankly, that's what my blog is for: my own entertainment. It happens that part of my entertainment is trying to make others laugh or think, too. I don't know what the big deal is.
